The habit of forcing a new medium to behave like the one it replaced. Magazine apps that replicate print layouts aren't honouring the medium; they're refusing to understand it. A digital calendar with twelve pages misses the entire point of a dynamic interface. Technology doesn't just digitize experiences; it fundamentally changes what's possible within them.
