Glanceable Design

Glanceable Design

If it takes longer than a glance, it wasn't designed for the wrist.

Interfaces designed to be understood in under two seconds with your wrist held up. Glanceable design is brutally honest about prioritization: if something can't be communicated in a glance, it doesn't belong on a watch face. Most apps fail this test because they were designed by people who forgot you can't hold your arm up forever.

TL;DR

Interfaces designed to communicate essential information in under two seconds, prioritizing clarity over completeness.
